Amy Shaw, Division Director for La Leche League International–Eastern United States (LLLI-EUS) Division, has
been a Leader for 26 years and is the mother of three grown sons. She has been a part of the EUS as the Administrative
Director of Leader Accreditation and is now helping the EUS and Leaders continue the mission of LLLI. Amy
is inspired by Leaders who believe in and actively promote good mothering through breastfeeding within their
own cultures.
Pam Freedman, LLLI-EUS Associate Director for Regional Administrators, first became involved with La Leche
League while living in Bexley, Ohio while pregnant with her second child. Not having breastfed her first child, she
quickly learned the benefits of breastfeeding with subsequent children! Pam became an LLL Leader in 1984. Pam
works with two LLL Groups in Chapel Hill and helps to keep La Leche League in the community spotlight there.
Pam and her husband, Steve, have three adult children.
Vicky Doran, LLLI-EUS Regional Administrator for the Northeast Region, has been a Leader for 17 years in the
same Group she first attended. She greatly enjoys working directly with mothers and babies, and can often be
found off in a corner communing with the toddlers. When not busy with La Leche League, Vicky has fun working
at a live theatre as the Audience Services Manager. At home, Vicky has had the joy of raising three children with
the loving support of her husband, Scott.
